Thank you to Sandy Bleecher and the wonderful ladies who crocheted these cozy afghan blankets for our morning story time! The children were absolutely delighted by all the bright colors and unique patterns. The blankets made our reading time feel extra warm and inviting, and the kids loved snuggling in as we shared stories together. Your generosity wrapped our little learners in comfort, and we are truly grateful for the care and creativity that went into each blanket.

To be in the giving mood this Season, the Music Department will be hosting a Showing of the Trees to serve as a fundraiser for each of our classes at Axtell Community Schools! How it will work: You will be paying to vote for your favorite tree. Hello wildcats! The junior class is doing a candy cane gram fundraiser where you get to purchase a candy cane with the option of writing a sweet and pretty awesome message that will be delivered on December 17th to your friends, classmates, or teachers. An order form should be in the Friday folders for K to 5th grade. A stack of flyers will be left with teachers for 6th to 8th graders. For high school students, you may catch one of the juniors to make an order or ask the junior class sponsors (Ms. Kuehn, Mrs. Meza, and Ms. Schull). The deadline for orders will be December 15th.
