Last Friday, April 10th, Mrs. Meza took a group of 5 high school Art students to McCook Community College to the annual Paint-In competition. The competition started at 9 am when all of the teams received the theme: Ripple Effect. Each team had to then work together to plan their painting with no help from their teacher. Each team had until 12 pm to plan, paint, and clean up before the paintings were judged and awards were handed out. Sammy, Kallie, Logan, Levi, and Coben did a great job working as a team to plan, paint and clean up. All of them, including Mrs. Meza were very proud of the work they did. It was some tough competition, so unfortunately they didn't win, however, everyone had a great time and are looking forward to returning next year.
