Axtell Community School

Thank you so much for a smooth first two days of school! We would like to show the image again for morning drop off. We will be blocking off the road to drive eastbound on East 5th Street. Please circle around the block on 4th street so it pulls you right up to the school. Make sure students are sitting on the right side of your vehicle to help with safe exiting. We are practicing hug and go to keep traffic flowing smooth.

Please make sure to use crosswalks on the corner of Main and East 5th Street. We appreciate everyones support with keeping our students and families safe. Go Wildcats!

THIS TUESDAY!!!!!! There will be a short Art Club meeting for 7th-12th graders that are interested in joining Art Club this year! It will be in the Art Room right after school! Hope to see you there! -Mrs. Meza

JH Volleyball practice will begin Monday! Players should bring volleyball gear including knee pads each day. Practice will begin Monday held during 8th period, with extended practice from 3:38-4:00.

New records are up!! Congratulations to Emma Hall, the new record holder in the 1600 and 3200 m. We would also like to recognize Stephanie Schneider and Jennifer Victor who held the records since 1999 & 2001.

Hello Axtell Wildcats, this is Mr. Lorenz with the pickup/drop-off directions for the new school year. The North entrance is now a one-way, please enter from the West and exit to the East. The safest opportunity for pickup/drop-off on the South entrance is to head West on 5th street, so your student does not have to cross traffic. Please reference the graphic shared in this post.

Axtell Community School is looking for route drivers (especially afternoon routes) and activity drivers!

✅ We pay for your Class B CDL training and license fees.
💲 $52 per route
💲 $18/hour for activity trips

Requirements include a clean driving record and passing a background check.

Join us for the Back to School Bash held on Thursday August 13th dinner and games start at 5:30. Adding Soak a Teacher this year pay $5 to dump a bucket of water on a teacher. Teacher list will be posted on Thursday!!

If you are a Kindergarten parent or new elementary student to Axtell, please consider attending the new student orientation on THURSDAY August 13th at 5:30 pm in the Library.

If you are a new middle or high school student to Axtell, please consider attending the new student orientation on FRIDAY August 14th at 6:30 pm in the gym.
